Opening the closet, getting ready, no drama.

“Uughhhh…. I am so sick of taking forever to get ready in the morning!”

I was running late, again.

I had several outfits thrown on the bed that didn’t make the cut.

You know the outfits…the ones that fit better when you’re 10lbs thinner?

Or the outfits you enjoy when you’re feeling better about your body?

I just wanted to be able to open up my closet, pull out any outfit in there I wanted to wear, put it on, and get out the door.  No drama.  No multi-clothes changes because I was having a “fat day.”

That seemed like an impossibility because I was always gaining and losing weight.  So at any given time, I had half a closet that didn’t fit right.

It was so frustrating!

I should be able to feel good in my clothes (and you should too).

But that’s what happens when you are constantly dieting.  You become great at taking weight off, but not great about keeping the weight off.

That is why I don’t take a diet approach with my clients.  Instead, we focus on changes that they are willing to make forever.

These are typically small changes.  Small changes that we continue to stack on top of each other until you have a bunch of little changes that can add up to big results.

If you find yourself overwhelmed with how far you have to go, let me invite you to take a smaller viewpoint.

Ask yourself, what small improvement can I make today?

Can you walk 1k more steps?

Can you stop eating 2-3 hours before bed?

Can you choose a chicken breast instead of a hamburger?

Can you take a serving of dessert and not eat out of the bag/container mindlessly?

The options are endless.  And most importantly, they are individual and customizable.  Pick the one that seems easiest for you and run with it.
