Self-sabotage much?!

Have you ever found yourself cruising along towards your goals, only to start self-sabotaging?

I mean, what gives?!

No, something isn’t wrong with you...you’re not broken! Instead, you likely have a flawed plan.

And that is easily changed!

When many women start to change their eating and exercise, they are doing it from negativity. Where they are currently is so painful that they no longer want to be “here.”

The problem is, the further they move from “here” and the closer they get to “there”, the less motivation they have. Because the motivation was fueled by “getting the hell outta here!”

Make sense?

Instead, you want to have a goal that pulls you toward it.

The first thing you need to do to find that “pull goal” is to ask yourself what is driving the change? What is “your why”? (If you aren’t clear, grab this handout. In 6 quick questions, you can find your true motivation.)

One of the underlying reasons most women I work with want to lose weight is to have more energy.

When your decisions are driven by increasing energy, you are moving towards something...more energy. With every action, you start to gather information and skills. You learn what food, how much movement, how much sleep, etc either helps or hurts your energy.

With every choice, you get clearer on what’s working (and what’s not). And when you know the road map, it’s much easier to get there!

So take a look at your goals. If it’s just to escape “here”, see if you can’t figure out what “there” looks like...and be specific! And if you’re confused, grab the handout!
